The Nank lavalier microphone (also known as a lapel microphone or clip-on microphone) is a small, wireless wire microphone that is widely used in video production and photography. Lavalier microphones are ideal for recording dialogue because they are discreet and unobtrusive, and can be placed near your mouth or on your collar without being noticed. This ensures that you get clean, clear audio in all recording situations, whether you're video blogging today, or recording an interview.

How to Properly Place the Nank Lavalier Microphone?
One of the great advantages of a lavalier microphone is that it can be cleverly clipped onto clothing, allowing for hands-free operation. However, the effectiveness of the microphone depends greatly on how you wear and adjust it.
When placing the Nank Mike Pro, it is important to consider its proximity to the sound source (usually your mouth or that of your subject) in order to get the best sound. Generally, it is recommended that you place the microphone on your chest, 6-8 inches away from your mouth. This gives a natural, distortion-free sound.
The Nank Lavalier Microphone comes with a clip, making it easy to place a lavalier microphone when there is an edge of clothing to hold it in place, such as the lapel of a jacket, the seams of a button-down shirt, or the edge of a tie. This keeps the microphone firmly in place on the garment and ensures that it does not come into direct contact with loose fabrics that could cause chafing.
Of course, if it's summer time and you're wearing clothes that don't have strong seams, such as a vest or t-shirt. You can then mount the microphone on the lapel - but be aware that if the microphone is right under the neck, the sound may be coloured and sound strange. You can avoid this by using a looser neckline, or mounting the mic on the side rather than directly under the chin.
If you are wearing a vest, the shoulder straps are another good place to mount a lavalier microphone. If you are wearing a tracksuit, this is usually the best solution. Or, if you want to get creative, mounting the microphone under your headband is a good option. As long as the microphone is 20-30 cm from your mouth and there are no clothes rubbing against it, you'll get great results.
